Whispers of Eternal Trust
We Were Always Meant to Burn

We were children playing promises in white,
Little hands holding dreams too big to fight,
You were my groom in a world we didn’t know,
But time was a river we couldn’t hold.
We let go like leaves in autumn air,
Lost in roads that led us everywhere,
But somewhere deep where silence grows,
Your name was the truth my heart still knows.
Oh, we were fire hiding in the dark,
Just a spark… just a spark…
I am the luckiest woman alive,
Standing here with your heart in mine,
We were never truly torn apart,
You’ve always lived inside my heart.
Like two wings in the endless sky,
We fall, we rise, but never goodbye,
No matter how far the years may run,
We were always meant to burn.
Like two swans across a painted sea,
You were always flying next to me,
Even when the sky turned into grey,
You were just a breath away.
Every memory carved in stone,
Every silence we’ve outgrown,
All the roads that pulled us apart,
Led me right back to your heart.
Oh, we were never really gone,
Just holding on… holding on…
I am the luckiest woman alive,
Standing here with your heart in mine,
We were never truly torn apart,
You’ve always lived inside my heart.
Like two wings in the endless sky,
We fall, we rise, but never goodbye,
No matter how far the years may run,
We were always meant to burn.
If one soul split into two,
Then I was always meant for you,
Through every life, through every pain,
Love like ours won’t fade away.
Let the oceans change their shape,
Let the skies rewrite their fate,
Still I’ll find you in the blue,
Because my soul belongs to you.
Final Chorus (soft → powerful)
I am the luckiest woman alive…
Now I know, now I know why…
Every road, every broken part,
Was just leading back to your heart.
Like two wings in the endless sky,
Side by side for all of time,
Now the flame we couldn’t hold,
Burns in love we finally know…

Whispers of Eternal Trust

Behind the painting
I painted this just weeks before our wedding.
And as the brush touched the canvas, it wasn't just pigment that flowed - it was memory, emotion, truth.
These two swans are not a fantasy.
They are us.
They carry the weight and the beauty of years spent side by side -
of laughter echoing across continents,
of hands held tightly through grief,
of a love that was never casual.
We met as children.
And somehow, through all of life’s currents, we kept finding each other.
Choosing each other...
That’s what this painting is:
A vow already lived.
A trust already earned.
It is not about the wedding day.
It is about everything before it that made this day inevitable.
This painting is my heart laid bare.
It’s what I feel when I look at him:
A calm knowing.
A sacred peace.
That whatever comes, storms or stillness - we walk into it together.
Because we already have.
Because love like this… it knows.
This is not love that waits to prove itself.
It already has.
And it continues to whisper:
“You are not alone. I am with you. Always.”
If you’ve known this kind of love - or dream of it -
then maybe this piece will speak to you too.
It’s not loud. It doesn’t need to be.
Like true love, it is quiet… but unshakable.
